In 2015, a working group of representatives from federal and state government, tribes, academia and non-profit sectors collaborated to produce the Science and Traditional Ecological (S-TEK) Strategic Plan. The S-TEK working group organized and prioritized themes using their own knowledge along with feedback from the Great Basin Public Forum and considered how the LCC may best contribute to landscape-scale conservation efforts. The resulting strategic plan guides the LCC’s science activities and funding in line with its mission and goals.
